Checklist for shutting down the Renfrew House

These are direct from Gloria. Clean like a Zenorini.

- Dust and vacuum all rooms that were used.
- Empty the waste baskets.
- Wash all sheets, pillow cases and towels used. Put them back in the cabinets. Don't leave them in the dryer.
- Sweep front and back stairs.
- Clean bathrooms and showers including the hair in the drains.
- Straighten the basement.
- Dust and vacuum living room, dining room and entry hall.
- Windex mirror and glass coffee table.
- Straighten the desktop and put away any games.
- Close all windows and lock the ones on the first floor. Pull down the shades 1/4 from the top.
- If the dining room fridge is empty, defrost it and clean the water away.
- Empty kitchen fridge of all tired food. Clean the shelves and freezer. Organize the fridge top.
- Clean toaster oven and microwave.
- Leave some food like bread, milk, OJ, cold cuts for next family.
- Check paper goods, napkins, paper towels and toilet paper in each bathroom.
- Empty dishwasher.
- Clean stove top with cleaner. If oven is dirty, clean it.
- Wash kitchen floor.
- Remove items from clothesline.
- Clean outside grill if used.
- Straighten and clean porch furniture.
- Rinse and put away beach toys and chairs.
- Turn off outside water spigot at basement valve and roll up the hose.
- Turn down two (2) thermostats to lowest settings.
- Lock all doors.
- If you are leaving early, let me know and I can let the next family know they can come early.

Here's a cleaning service that has been used in the past. I personally haven't but I've heard they do the job.
